BERNARD DOTSON, TRUSTEE

A native of Los Angeles California, Bernard began performing Nationally and Internationally singing the Walt Disney Songbook. While working for the Disney Company he was featured on TV shows singing in English, French, German, and Japanese. Concerts include "One Singular Sensation, The Music of Marvin Hamlisch" Live Arts Maryland, J Ernest Green Conductor, The music of Frank Loesser with The New York Philharmonic, 2012 hit Encores production of "Merrily We Roll Along", Directed by James Lapine, "Finian's Rainbow", "Encores Broadway Bash", and "Dreamgirls" to benefit the Actors Fund. Bernard has been seen on Broadway in “Finian's Rainbow", (First Gospeleer, Original Revival Cast), "Chicago", (Billy Flynn), "Imaginary Friends", (Leo, Original Cast), Music by Marvin Hamlisch, Lyrics by Craig Carnelia, starring Swoosie Kurtz, Cherry Jones, and Harry Groener, "Sweet Smell Of Success”, (Club Zanzibar Singer), Music by Marvin Hamlisch, Lyrics by Craig Carnelia, Starring John Lithgow, Brian d'Arcy James, and Kelli O'Hara, “Jesus Christ Superstar", (Original Revival Cast), and the Tony Award winning Musical "Ragtime", (Original Cast), starring Brian Stokes Mitchell, Audra McDonald, and Marin Mazzie. With a host of Regional, National, and International Tours, Bernard has been seen in such shows as "Smokey Joe's Cafe", (Ken), "Five Guys Named Moe", (No Moe), "Kiss Me Kate" (Paul), "Xanadu", (Danny Maguire/Zeus), "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" (Naphtali/The Baker), and “Paradise Square”, (Camp Butler), just to name a few. Bernard can be heard on six cast recordings and can be seen performing his critically acclaimed One-Man Show "Unexpected Songs."
